This is a victorian house split into three units, the owner living in the upstairs unit 7 months per year. that said, residents must respect each other’s privacy (landlord included), and keep things on the quiet side. we have a cat upstairs, so cats welcome. the layout is a bit quirky - entrance via a laneway through the backyard, recently landscaped, up to a small deck, and then you enter into the sitting room, then into the original full-sized kitchen, which has been restored preserving original hard wood floors, cabinets and decorative victorian tin ceiling. the bedroom is a good size, with beautiful original molding and hardwood floors. step downstairs into a terracotta tiled den with some storage, and into a well-lit renovated bathroom with tub and heated marble floor. overall it’s a charming place that matches the character of the neighborhood - a block down to college st., ttc, shops and restaurants. no lease term. just give us 60 days notice. 25-year history of stable long term tenants. free super fast wifi, free washer/dryer in the basement, convenient outside entrance, ac window units available, one for bedroom, one for kitchen which keeps the place cool. house thermostat in the landlord’s unit. the house is set at 21 degrees. optional plugin radiator heaters available if needed. there is some furniture in the place we hope to keep there, negotiable. parking might be available in the near future.
