Hi! i am a mature female looking for a long-term reliable space to call home! i can pay up to $1,200 (all inclusive) per month. i am interested in either a separate unit or a spacious living area that is primarily private but has a shared kitchen with one other mature female. (male possible, but female preferred.) my personal area would need to include a bedroom, large closet, and private bathroom, plus my own living room. (all this could be in a unified space.) i would also prefer a private entrance. and i need parking for one car. i am looking for something central and/or at the north end of the city or to the west – something within an hour’s walk to downtown or at least to the waterways – ottawa river or canal. this is my preference as i am someone who loves to be out where there are people and i enjoy long walks for exercise! i am also a long-time house and pet sitter. (i go into people’s homes to sit for them directly on-site…i do not bring pets home.) this means i will be away from my own home often, and sometimes for months at a time. so, there will be periods when my space will be vacant. (additionally - if you are a homeowner with your own pets, i would be happy to pet sit for you if you travel.) i am healthy, youthful, and fit, in my sixties, and all my life have enjoyed a wholesome lifestyle. so, i do not smoke, do drugs, or drink (except an occasional glass of wine at special celebrations). being quiet, independent, kind, positive and easy-going i appreciate similar qualities in others. but kind-heartedness is the most important to me since kindness going both ways is what makes a house a ‘home’. i am semi-retired from a career in teaching and counselling so have an innate interest in psychology and personal growth, as well as self-awareness and spirituality (but not religion). if you have a space, or if you are looking for someone with whom to rent a new shared space to call home, and you think i would be a good fit, then i would love to hear from you!!
