We are looking for someone to take over our year-to-year (not fixed-term, yay!) lease starting september 1 for a 2 bedroom apartment in downtown dartmouth. this is a really great apartment that we’ve called home for the past four years, but we have to relocate for work. the unit is on the top floor of a quiet 3 storey walk-up. the unit has 2 bedrooms, an in-unit washer and dryer (with some storage space behind the machine), a dishwasher, a large deck, is cat and dog friendly, and includes parking for one small vehicle. this is a year-to-year lease takeover. the rent is $1,819.12/month plus utilities for september and october. the rent will increase by 5% to $1,910/month beginning november 1. the building is less than a 5 minute walk to the alderney ferry terminal, approximately a 10 minute walk to the bridge terminal, walkable to nscc ivany campus, and a 5 minute drive to sobeys, superstore, and no frills. the approval process is handled directly through the landlord, and proof of income is required for approval. if you're interested, please send us a message with a little information about yourself and who would be living in the apartment, and we can arrange a viewing.
